Skywater Associates is an investment and holding company. We primarily specialize in developing single and multifamily real estate, 3D Concrete printing, and investing in landscaping and construction related businesses. When it comes to real estate development, we partake in new construction, rehabilitations, and remodels to not only provide a quality product for sale or for rent, but to also maximize our investors' return.
We also look to invest with and grow existing and startup businesses. Our focus in this space is construction, engineering, landscaping or other trades and service bases businesses. We invest in businesses with quality management and employees that have the potential to grow and be a leader in their market. We aim for businesses that will last the test of time and that will produce long term returns for investors.
For most investors, the barrier to entry to invest in a mutual fund, hedge fund, or other alternative vehicle, is too high and the capital requirements too great. We are here to give investors an opportunity to invest in specific, high performing assets that fit their respective risk tolerance

How Does it Work?
Our company operates primarily by accepting and pooling investments from partners. Investors and Partners then work together and vote on an asset of range of assets to invest in. Each investment involves its own contracts and terms that partners can fully negotiate.

Skywater associates and it's funds operate as 3(1)(c) Exemption under the Investment Companies Act. We are a exempt private investment company, and we intend to remain private indefinitely.
Meet the CEO
Reuben Schmit - Founder
Reuben was raised in Southern California, and grew up poor, supported by his single mother. From an early age, Reuben found that he wanted to achieve financial success in life, and that he would break the cycle of poverty in his family. Starting his first business at 15, Reuben saw the power of entrepreneurship and financial freedom. While attending Cal Poly Pomona for Civil Engineering, Reuben began trading equities, options, and futures, and was forever thrust into the world of finance.
Reuben founded the company on the premise that, the rich and powerful control the investment industry, and therefore we must fight fire with fire - "In order to gain access to lucrative, high returning investments, we must take actions into our own hands and come together as partners, and to not let the fate of our capital rest in the hands of others."
